Nanlite Forza 200 LED: A Filler for Forza 60 and Forza 300
Along with the 60W bicolor Forza 60B, Nanlite also introduced the new 200W Forza 200 daylight LED that uses a COB LED module. Forza 200 meets the demand of those who don’t require the power of 300W Forza 300 but want something brighter than the 60W Forza 60/60B. In a compact format, this new 200W LED offers an outstanding light output while maintaining high CRI and TLCI values.
At 1 meter with a 55° Reflector, Forza 200 can output up to 24160 Lumens (37540 Lux) with a high CRI and TLCI of 98 and 97 respectively. When combined with an optional FL-20G Fresnel from Nanlite, the brightness values go extremely high up to 126413 Lux at the same 1-meter distance. The FL-20G Fresnel is also compatible with Forza 300 and Forza 500 LED as well.
While maintaining the 5600K color temperature and high color accuracy, Forza 200 can dim down all the way to 0% from full brightness. This reduces the need for additional accessories to control the light. However, there are many scenarios when light modifiers become a necessity. To solve that purpose, the new Nanlite Foza 200 utilizes a Bowen style modifier mount that opens the door for a large range of light modifiers.
Special Lighting Effects
Like most of the modern LEDs in the industry, the new Forza 200 also comes with pre-programmed special lighting effects that are otherwise extremely hard to produce manually. These 11 effects include:
- INT Loop
- Flash
- Pulse
- Storm
- TV
- Paparazzi
- Candle/Fire
- Bad Bulb
- Firework
- Explosion
- Welding.
Power and Battery
The new 200W Forza 200 can run both on a 48V DC power source or V-Mount battery. The compatible battery options include:
- Sony V-Mount 14.4V-14.8V/12A battery (not included)
- Sony V-Mount 26V/12A battery (not included)
With the 14.4V-14.8V/12A battery, Forza 200 offers a runtime up to 60 minutes at full power (200W). But with the 26V/12A Sony V-Mount battery, this LED can last up to 90 minutes at 120W reduced output.
