Leica CL Edition Paul Smith Launched with Rich Vibrant Colors
Leica just announced its new special edition CL digital camera created in collaboration with Paul Smith for the second time after working on Leica X2 Special Edition. This camera comes with Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens, a Neon strap with Paul Smith and Leica branding and a lens cleaning cloth in matching style. The new-look comprises of a blue top plate, with rich vibrant colors on its top buttons and stripes across the camera’s bottom. Leica will only ship 900 CL Edition Paul Smith cameras across the globe.
Camera Specifications
In terms of camera specifications, it is a 24.96 MP camera with an APS-C CMOS sensor. It is capable of shooting 4k video up to 30 fps in MP4 format. For continuous burst shooting, Leica CL can capture up to 10 frames per second. It incorporates MAESTRO II processor but Leica is already out with its new powerful processor, MAESTRO III, which it uses in the new Leica SL2 camera.
This special edition Paul Smith camera is compatible with all Leica TL & SL lenses. It can shoot video recordings at a maximum length of 29 minutes with a maximum file size of 4GB. Its shutter speed can be as fast as 1/25000s with an electronic shutter. Whereas with the mechanical shutter, it supports speeds up to 1/8000s. To store the media, it offers memory card standards up to UHS-II for fast transfers.
