Canon is on the way to blow the market by its new flagship which is not launched yet but officially provided a glimpse of the camera. Canon EOS-1D X Mark III features vast improvements over its predecessor. Along with a new DIGIC processor, it will incorporate a new CMOS sensor. Other functions such as ISO and Autofocus will perform even better with this new update.
Stills
Now the interesting part, Canon EOS 1DX Mark III is capable of capturing stills at speeds of 16 fps with Optical Viewfinder. With live view, it can shoot continuously up to 20fps. Wild-life and action photographers will greatly benefit from such bursts speeds. This camera will also give the option to capture 10-bit HEIF images.
Amazing Video Features
This Canon flagship DSLR will boast 4k 10-bit 4:2:2 internal video recording up to 60 fps. Not only that, it can also shoot the videos in RAW, proving lots of freedom to work with dynamic range in post. Unlike its competitors, you won’t have to rely on external recorders to include in your workflow.
Improved Autofocus
The Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus can cover 90% of the horizontal area whereas 100% for vertical. The new autofocus sensor now offers 28 times higher resolution than Canon EOS-1DX Mark II. There are 525 AF points in auto selection mode.
Improved Communication System
To capture fast continuous shooting speeds, Canon EOS-1D X Mark III will now support faster Dual CFexpress card slots. This will ensure smooth performance for both high burst stills and RAW video recording.
Design and other New Features
This new canon DSLR maintains the same design as its predecessor but some of the buttons are now illuminated. One great addition is the new WFT-E9A WiFi Module that supports longer distance transfers through the camera. It also includes built-in wifi along with low energy Bluetooth and GPS.
This is a DSLR camera for serious photographers and filmmakers that demand the best possible quality. The price of this camera is not disclosed yet but Canon will soon make an announcement revealing more details along with its price.
